What you need for the Beginner Class - 2021 Starting Date Fall 2022 - dates TBD (1:00 - 1:45)
- Fee: $3.00 for each session (if you stick around for the Jam session there's no additional charge)
- A Standard tuning ukulele - G-C-E-A tuning - no Baritones please. Your instrument must be in playable condition which means the tuning pegs work (they don't slip) and the strings are relatively new. Standard ukuleles come in three sizes: soprano, concert, and tenor. I recommend either the concert or tenor because they are easier to play. Watch this video if you want more information before you buy.
- A digital tuner, preferably one that is calibrated for ukulele tuning and clips onto the ukulele headstock. Check out the Snark SN-6X or the Kala Klipz Clip-On Tuners. You can find them online or in local music stores.
- A music stand and a pencil
- Available for purchase: Beginner Book: Alfred's Teach Yourself to Play Ukulele $15
